College Summit
We are proud to partner with College Summit to support our students in their drive for college success. Five of our students participated in College Summit's Peer Leader training this summer at University of California-Merced. These students are taking a leadership role in building a college-going culture at EPAPA and teaching our students and families about the application process.
Collective Roots
Although the organic garden at EPACS is around the corner, Collective Roots is woven into the fabric of our school community. We continue to work collaboratively with Collective Roots to find ways for our students to support health and nutrition in their community and in their own lives. This past summer, two of our students worked as Collective Roots interns, helping to organize and promote the East Palo Alto Farmers Market. Future plans include programs and curricula that utilize the organic garden as a resource for enhancing our secondary science program.
